MoreTish's Cheesecakes was established by Patricia Zedalis, a graphic designer. She came up with the name MoreTish's Cheesecakes because people were always asking, "Can I have some more of Tish's cheesecake?" Tish is a nickname bestowed upon her when she was eight years old by a childhood friend, hence,
MoreTish's Cheesecakes.

Tish's love of baking began when she was a little girl living in Astoria, New York. As she walked past the local bakery, Buzzio's, and marveled at the delectable strawberry shortcakes all lined up in a row, she wanted to learn how to bake them. When she was seven, Tish moved to Flushing, Queens, and for her first Christmas there she was thrilled to receive an Easy Bake Oven. You could say that Tish's life plan was forged from that day forth. As she was growing up, in between playing with friends and doing her schoolwork, Tish would bake. She continued baking through her teens, leaving time for socializing
with her friends, of course.

Upon graduating from high school, Tish decided to develop her artistic talents, having been inspired to do so by one of her teachers, Mr. Lang. She studied Graphic Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. Soon after graduating, she married her boyfriend, Steve, with whom she has two children, Alexandra and Tyler.

Tish continues to work in her chosen field, graphic design, all the while baking and cooking for family meals, dinner parties, and holiday gatherings. She even has quite a demand for her baked goods from her co-workers. They're always asking her to make more cheesecake!

More Tish's Cheesecakes is the natural outgrowth of combining Tish's artistic talents with her love of baking. MoreTish's Cheesecakes combines food and art.
